Eliane will be fifteen months old on Thursday. She's not walking yet but she is the cutest cruiser. She doesn't just cruise furniture, she cruises walls. She's just started doing that this week really, so I think it's probably an indication that she is pretty keen to walk. She loves to walk behind a wooden trolley too, but she's not very skillful at it yet.
What she is good at now is standing. She gets up from the floor with no support with (seemingly) minimal effort, and can stand quite comfortably and even do something like wave goodbye without losing her balance. She takes great pleasure in it too However, the moment she does start to lose her balance she just sinks down onto her bottom. I have not seen her take even one step to try to maintain balance.
In the meantime Elli is the fastest little crawler around. I hadn't really noticed this, I suppose because Liam was similar, but people have started to comment on it.
