But it's not all been about the kitchen. Liam and I made a chook dome two weekends ago:
Pictured here not quite finished - it still had to have a roost and waterproof cover added at this point, not to mention the door finished, but we had to get the chooks in, because we had someone putting in wall insulation that day, and wanted to make sure the chooks were out of the way, so he could go in and out of gates without worrying.
Liam and I did a Bunnings trip to buy the PVC pressure pipe (which is 15mm and comes in 6m lengths), and bought a small roll of new chook wire, but most of the rest of the stuff was salvaged from around the yard.
Then last weekend we went out to my cousin's property out Gundaroo way and visited with his Llama's:
There are less than two weeks of school holidays left now, but we have been enjoying them, for the most part.
